Enjoy Oasis – Rock n’ Roll Star Live at Glastonbury

I live my life in the city
There’s no easy way out
The day’s moving just too fast for me
I need some time in the sunshine
I gotta slow it right down
The day’s moving just too fast for me

I live my life for the stars that shine
People say it’s just a waste of time
When they said I should feed my head
That to me was just a day in bed
I’ll take my car and I drive real far
To where they’re not concerned about the way we are
In my mind my dreams are real
Are you concerned about the way I feel

Tonight I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star
Tonight I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star

I live my life in the city
There’s no easy way out
The day’s moving just too fast for me
I need some time in the sunshine
I gotta slow it right down
The day’s moving just too fast for me

I live my life for the stars that shine
People say it’s just a waste of time
When they said I should feed my head
That to me was just a day in bed
I’ll take my car and I drive real far
To where they’re not concerned about the way we are
In my mind my dreams are real
Are you concerned about the way I feel

Tonight I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star
Tonight I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star
Tonight I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star

Youre not down with who I am
Look at you now youre all in my hands tonight

Tonight I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star
Tonight I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star
Tonight I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star

Its just rock n roll
Its just rock n roll
Its just rock n roll

Enjoy Pulp – Common People Live at Glastonbury

She came from Greece, she had a thirst for knowledge
She studied sculpture at Saint Martin’s College
That’s where I caught her eye
She told me that her Dad was loaded
I said “In that case I’ll have rum and coca-cola
She said “fine”
And then in 30 seconds time she said
“I want to live like common people
I want to do whatever common people do
I want to sleep with common people
I want to sleep with common people like you”
Well what else could I do?
I said “I’ll see what I can do”
I took her to a supermarket
I don’t know why
but I had to start it somewhere
so it started there
I said “pretend you’ve got no money”
but she just laughed
and said “oh you’re so funny”
I said “Yeah
Well I can’t see anyone else smiling in here
Are you sure
you want to live like common people
you want to see whatever common people see
you want to sleep with common people
you want to sleep with common people like me?”
But she didn’t understand
she just smiled and held my hand
Rent a flat above a shop
Cut your hair and get a job
Smoke some fags and play some pool
Pretend you never went to school
But still you’ll never get it right
‘cos when you’re laid in bed at night
watching roaches climb the wall
if you called your dad he could stop it all
yeah
You’ll never live like common people
You’ll never do whatever common people do
You’ll never fail like common people
You’ll never watch your life slide out of view
and then dance and drink and screw
because there’s nothing else to do
Sing along with the common people
Sing along and it might just get you through
Laugh along with the common people
Laugh along although they’re laughing at you
and the stupid things that you do
because you think that poor is cool
Like a dog lying in a corner
they will bite you and never warn you
Look out
they’ll tear your insides out
‘cos everybody hates a tourist
especially one who thinks
it’s all such a laugh
yeah and the chip stain’s grease
will come out in the bath
You will never understand
how it feels to live your life
with no meaning or control
and with nowhere left to go
You are amazed that they exist
and they burn so bright
whilst you can only wonder why
Rent a flat above a shop
Cut your hair and get a job
Smoke some fags and play some pool
Pretend you never went to school
But still you’ll never get it right
’cause when you’re laid in bed at night
watching roaches climb the wall
if you called your dad he could stop it all
yeah
You’ll never live like common people
You’ll never do whatever common people do
You’ll never fail like common people
You’ll never watch your life slide out of view
and then dance and drink and screw
‘because there’s nothing else to do
I want to live with common people like you…..

Enjoy Elbow – One Day Like This Live at Glastonbury

Drinking in the morning sun
Blinking in the morning sun
Shaking off the heavy one
Heavy like a loaded gun

What made me behave that way?
Using words I never say
I can only think it must be love
Oh, anyway, it’s looking like a beautiful day

Someone tell me how I feel
It’s silly wrong but vivid right
Oh, kiss me like the final meal
Yeah, kiss me like we die tonight

Cause holy cow, I love your eyes
And only now I see the light
Yeah, lying with me half-awake
Oh, anyway, it’s looking like a beautiful day

When my face is chamois-creased
If you think I’ll wink, I did
Laugh politely at repeats
Yeah, kiss me when my lips are thin

Cause holy cow, I love your eyes
And only now I see you like
Yeah, lying with me half-awake
Stumbling over what to say
Well, anyway, it’s looking like a beautiful day

So throw those curtains wide!
One day like this a year’d see me right!

Enjoy Paul McCartney – Hey Jude Live at Glastonbury

HEY JUDE, DON’T MAKE IT BAD,
TAKE A SAD SONG AND MAKE IT BETTER.
REMEMBER TO LET HER INTO YOUR HEART,
THEN YOU CAN START TO MAKE IT BETTER.

HEY JUDE, DON’T BE AFRAID,
YOU WERE MADE TO GO OUT AND GET HER.
THE MINUTE YOU LET HER UNDER YOUR SKIN,
THEN YOU BEGIN TO MAKE IT BETTER.

AND ANY TIME YOU FEEL THE PAIN, HEY JUDE, REFRAIN,
DON’T CARRY THE WORLD UPON YOUR SHOULDERS.
FOR WELL YOU KNOW THAT IT’S A FOOL WHO PLAYS IT COOL,
BY MAKING HIS WORLD A LITTLE COLDER.
NA-NA-NA-NA-NA NA-NA-NA-NA.

HEY JUDE, DON’T LET ME DOWN,
FOR YOU HAVE FOUND HER, NOW GO AND GET HER.
(Let it out and let it in)
REMEMBER (Hey Jude) TO LET HER INTO YOUR HEART,
THEN YOU CAN START TO MAKE IT BETTER.

SO LET IT OUT AND LET IT IN, HEY JUDE, BEGIN,
YOU’RE WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO PERFORM WITH.
AND DON’T YOU KNOW THAT IT’S JUST YOU, HEY JUDE, YOU’LL DO,
THE MOVEMENT YOU NEED IS ON YOUR SHOULDER.
NA-NA-NA-NA-NA NA-NA-NA-NA.

HEY JUDE, DON’T MAKE IT BAD,
TAKE A SAD SONG AND MAKE IT BETTER.
REMEMBER TO LET HER UNDER YOUR SKIN,

Enjoy The White Stripes – Jolene Live at Glastonbury

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I’m begging of you, please don’t take my man
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
Please don’t take him just because you can.

Your beauty is beyond compare
With flaming locks of auburn hair
With ivory skin
And eyes of emerald green

Your smile is like a breath of spring
Your voice is soft like summer rain
I cannot compete with you, Jolene
he talks about you in his sleep
And there is nothing I can do to keep
From crying when he calls your name, Jolene

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I’m begging of you please don’t take my man
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
Please don’t take him even though you can

Now I can easily understand
How you can easily take my man
But you don’t know what he means to me, Jolene

Well you could have your choice of men
But I could never love again
He’s the only one for me, Jolene

And I had to have this talk with you
My happiness depends on you
And whatever you decide to do, Jolene

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
I’m begging of you please don’t take my man
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene
Please don’t take him even though you can

Enjoy Muse – Where The Streets Have No Name with The Edge from U2 Live at Glastonbury

I wanna run
I want to hide
I wanna tear down the walls
That hold me inside
I wanna reach out
And touch the flame
Where the streets have no name
Ha…ha…ha…
I want to feel
Sunlight on my face
I see the dust cloud disappear
Without a trace
I want to take shelter from the poison rain
Where the streets have no name
Ho…ha…

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We’re still building
Then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you
It’s all I can do

The city’s aflood
And our love turns to rust
We’re beaten and blown by the wind
Trampled in dust
I’ll show you a place
High on a desert plain
Where the streets have no name

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We’re still building
Then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you
It’s all I can do

Our love turns to rust
We’re beaten and blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
Oh, and I see our love
See our love turn to rust
Oh, we’re beaten and blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
Oh, when I go there
I go there with you
It’s all I can do
